Waking up early has become easier than waking after an afternoon kip. The idea of moving, getting up, interacting with the world after a short (90 minutes - 60 minutes too long) kip. All those carbs and electrolytes and yet, I still don’t have the energy not to have an afternoon kip (Kip = Nap. For you Americans).

Woke up about 10 minutes before my alarm. 05:55. Waking up before your alarm has a chance to ruin your day feels great. My body deemed awakeness a good thing and made it happen. I jumped straight into my morning reading and once the daily reads were done I continued with;

So, besides finishing off a book, Ryan Holiday’s Courage is Calling, I finished my new diet and workout plan. So tomorrow I can get started on that. I’ve mentioned this before, all this isn’t set in stone. I’ll be changing things up as I go and as I learn new things about the training.

I gave up alcohol, or rather went 99% sober, on February 11th 2024. On Monday 22nd April there was a Buffalo Trace (BTAC//Pappy) event at work. I wasn’t working that day but went along anyway to see people lose their minds over the samplings.
